Selecting Fishing Gear
Essential equipment for expeditions
Outerwear
must be designed for temperatures ranging from -5 to +30 degrees. It must be waterproof, windproof, breathable, compact and warm. The same requirements apply to footwear. It is necessary to take into account that most expeditions will take place on water.

We recommend taking two spinning rods. One - up to 25 g (for lenok, whitespotted char, grayling, Dolly Varden trout, whitefish, Arctic char), and another - up to 50 g (taimen, chum salmon, pink salmon, coho salmon)

Lures
BluFox No.3 to No.6, various colors, also large-sized silvery wobblers. If you intend to angle for grayling, we suggest taking smaller lures and other baits. The locals use tablespoons to fit into a lure by breaking the handle off and mounting a simple treble to the head... We would also like to note that travel spinning gear proved to be very useful: small size and light weight allow you to take it in the cabin with you when you board a plane. And its carrying tube is easily fitted in a backpack pocket
